Denhale ARC - Home to Disability Sport Yorkshire
Disability Sport Yorkshire took over the Denhale Active Recreation Center in August 2014.
Disability Sport Yorkshire (formerly the Federation of Disability Sports Organisations) was founded in 1993. The new organisation brought together under one umbrella four existing regional disability sports organisations.
Our main aim was, and still is, to address the inequality in access to sport for disabled people.
From the centre we run our regional sports programmes and projects, our Active Events programme and inclusive training and coaching qualification courses.

Multi Sports Activity
Great new Multi Sports Activity here at The Denhale ARC. Working in partnership with Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation we are providing FREE Multi Sports sessions. Lots of fun and games to be enjoyed every week.
Health & Fitness Programme
New activity at the ARC. This great programme will inspire and teach the participants a wide range of knowledge. Nutrition, self confidence, leadership, inclusion, training & qualifications and much more!
